About The Position

Xometry is seeking a Sourcing Associate to support its expanding global Partner and Customer network. The role works cross-functionally to deliver service functions that create a smooth order experience for partners and customers. It focuses on resolving challenging and complex orders by collaborating with internal teams, engaging Xometry’s partner network, and working with customers to develop recovery plans. The position is suited to someone who is adaptable, detail-oriented, communicative, and motivated to find creative solutions.

Requirements

• Be detail-oriented and a problem solver, with the ability to thrive in ambiguous situations with minimal direction.
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Show a strong desire to learn and grow within the company and the position.
• Be able to handle several assignments simultaneously.
• Have proficiency with Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, as well as basic internet navigation skills.
• Have experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers.

Nice To Haves

• A bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Solidworks, Salesforce, Looker, and mechanical print interpretation is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Triage orders to uncover potential manufacturing issues, including tolerance concerns, design limitations, and material availability.
• Identify alternative sourcing strategies.
• Cultivate relationships across the partner network and proactively communicate capacity gaps and constraints.
• Work cross-functionally to devise recovery strategies for assigned orders.
• Meet sourcing KPIs for margin and time to resolution.
