About The Position

The Sorter performs general warehouse duties, including shipping and receiving, documenting inventory movement, maintaining an organized work area and shop supplies, handling and verifying stock, preparing orders, and transporting materials. The role also includes customer equipment and supply deliveries, as well as facility janitorial and basic maintenance duties. No experience or formal education is required; on-the-job training is provided.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
No experience required; on-the-job training is provided.
No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.

Nice To Haves

One year of similar work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform shipping and receiving duties.
Document incoming and outgoing items.
Keep a tidy and organized work area.
Maintain stock of shop supplies.
Load and unload materials to and from designated storage areas.
Verify documented counts against physical counts of stock.
Receive and fill orders or prepare supplies for sale.
Install protective devices to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
Drive a truck or forklift to pick up incoming stock or deliver materials.
Pick up and deliver customer equipment, shop supplies, parts, and other items.
Perform facility janitorial and maintenance duties, such as changing light bulbs, removing trash, and communicating work orders.
