About The Position
Genesis10 is seeking an Enterprise Architecture Data & AI Engineer for a hybrid position with a global financial institution in Jersey City, New Jersey. The role supports development of a Talk-to-Data platform, focusing on building and optimizing data pipelines, supporting semantic data capabilities, and contributing to conversational analytics solutions. It also involves creating data-processing and automation scripts and developing APIs and data-integration solutions. The opportunity is a 12+ month contract, with three days onsite per week.
Requirements
- BSc-level degree in computer science or equivalent experience in industry.
- High-level knowledge of functional, system, and technical architecture.
- Broad IT knowledge across hardware, software, middleware, databases, cloud, and AI.
- At least 5 years of strong Oracle Database experience.
- Advanced SQL development and query optimization skills.
- Experience with data modeling and relational database design.
- Experience with stored procedures, packages, views, and ETL processes.
- Strong Python development skills.
- Experience building data-processing and automation scripts.
- Ability to develop APIs and data-integration solutions.
- Experience with or understanding of embeddings, chunking, vector databases, semantic search, and RAG concepts.
- Excellent analytical, written technical, and verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with vector databases and implementing embedding pipelines.
- Experience with PromptQL or similar natural-language query platforms.
- Understanding of metadata-driven and semantic search architectures.
