About The Position

INNERGY is seeking a Solutions Engineer to serve as the technical bridge between its CAD/CAM product and the custom manufacturers who use it. The role partners closely with Sales throughout the technical pre-sales cycle, helping prospects and customers understand how CAD/CAM supports design, engineering, and production and how it fits into INNERGY’s broader suite of solutions. The Solutions Engineer translates complex capabilities into practical outcomes for architectural millwork, cabinetry, casework, and other custom manufacturing workflows. This is a fully remote role open to candidates in specified North American states, with travel of up to 25% for trade shows, customer visits, and team events. The position also collaborates with Product and Engineering, represents customer needs internally, and contributes to customer education through sessions, webinars, and events.

Requirements

  • Natural ability to build trust and rapport quickly with shop owners, engineers, and production managers.
  • Consultative, problem-first mindset, including the ability to uncover customer bottlenecks and connect them to practical solutions.
  • Ability to demonstrate and explain parametric design, product libraries, and production outputs.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for trade shows, customer visits, and team events.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in the architectural millwork, casework, or cabinetry industry, such as shop floor, engineering, estimating, or production management.
  • Three or more years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or technical consulting within a manufacturing software or CAD/CAM environment.
  • Hands-on experience with CAD/CAM software, including Toolbox, libraries, or post-processors, and/or other CAD/CAM-based systems.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-accountability, fast-moving SaaS environment and take ownership of outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales to own the technical pre-sales cycle for CAD/CAM, from discovery through close, and explain how CAD/CAM fits within the broader INNERGY ecosystem.
  • Lead tailored product demonstrations showing CAD-based design, engineering, and manufacturing workflows.
  • Translate customer requirements into scalable CAD/CAM solutions, including libraries, automation, and production outputs.
  • Guide prospects on how CAD/CAM supports engineer-to-order and custom manufacturing environments.
  • Support technical validations, proof-of-concepts, and complex deal cycles.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to align customer needs with product capabilities.
  • Represent the voice of the customer by sharing feedback on trends, gaps, and opportunities with Product, Engineering, and Sales leadership.
  • Continuously refine demo environments, including libraries, renderings, and manufacturing outputs.
  • Represent INNERGY at industry trade shows, conferences, and customer events.
  • Support education sessions, webinars, and Lunch & Learn events as a subject matter expert.
