About The Position

The Solutions Engineer supports Crestron's Sales organization by assisting Dealers, Consultants, Specifiers, and internal Sales teams in developing audiovisual system solutions across commercial and residential markets. The role contributes to the design, documentation, and delivery of technical proposals and provides customer-focused support through effective collaboration and communication. The Solutions Engineer works in a team-oriented environment to help ensure high-quality outcomes and a consistent customer experience.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in solutions engineering, AV design, or technical support.
• Foundational proficiency in AutoCAD, Visio, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic knowledge of audiovisual systems, videoconferencing technologies, networking equipment, and related solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop system design proposals and quotations for small- to medium-scale projects.
• Provide pre-sales technical support to Dealers, Consultants, and internal Sales teams, primarily via phone, chat, and email.
• Review technical input and deliverables from internal sources to support project completeness and accuracy.
• Collaborate with Sales teams and customers to ensure alignment with project requirements and customer expectations.
• Contribute to team deliverables and support senior engineers in project execution.
