Solutions Consultant

About The Position

Gifthealth is seeking a Solutions Consultant to serve as its technical voice with pharmaceutical manufacturer partners, supporting discovery and solution design at the beginning of the partner lifecycle. Reporting to the Director of Product, this role works alongside Implementation and Client Success to understand partner needs, determine how they fit the Gifthealth platform, and clarify what is needed to deliver a solution. It is a solution architecture role rather than a requirements-documentation role. The consultant considers partner problems and the platform holistically, shapes solutions aligned with the platform vision, and hands defined solutions to Product, which owns specifications, prioritization, and the roadmap. Success requires technical curiosity, comfort with ambiguity, high agency, and willingness to learn from senior teammates and partners. The position is remote and full-time, with standard business hours and flexibility around partner meeting schedules. It regularly collaborates with Product, Implementation, Client Success, Engineering, Commercial teams, and senior consultants. The salary range is $98,000–$125,000.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Four years of experience in a technical, client-facing role such as solutions consulting, solutions architecture, sales engineering, implementation, integration or professional services, or technical support for a software or services offering.
  • Direct experience working with clients on technical topics such as requirements discussions, configuration, integrations, demos, or solution walkthroughs.
  • Working knowledge of APIs, integrations, data flows, and system architecture.
  • Quantifiable results from past work and an understanding of their business impact.
  • Solid understanding of software architecture and the tech stack, including the ability to reason about system behavior and constraints.
  • Ability to turn open-ended conversations into structured notes and a viable solution direction, with support on complex requests.
  • High agency and self-direction, with the drive to move work forward without a defined path.
  • Clear written, verbal, and interpersonal communication, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to use AI tools to accelerate solution design, build demos, and follow and contribute to team standards.
  • Demonstrated application of the stated qualifications.
  • Collaborative problem-solving skills and diplomacy with external stakeholders.
  • Foundational understanding of client retention and business growth, and how solution design influences both.
  • Ability to identify and share client signals that could inform Product without building to every request at face value.

Nice To Haves

  • Pre-sales experience supporting technical discovery, demos, or scoping conversations for prospective or new clients.
  • Healthcare, pharmaceutical manufacturer partnership, digital pharmacy, or specialty pharmacy experience.
  • Experience working alongside implementation or client success teams.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturer hub services, patient support programs, and specialty or digital pharmacy workflows.
  • Ability to build lightweight prototypes or mockups to validate a direction with partners.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in technical discovery and scoping conversations with partners, pairing with Implementation and Client Success in live client sessions and leading sessions on defined engagements.
  • Own the technical relationship with partners on assigned engagements, including architecture questions, integration approaches, and feasibility discussions.
  • Turn open-ended partner requests into solution designs that fit the Gifthealth platform, escalating complex or cross-system questions to senior consultants and Engineering.
  • Provide partners with candid guidance about what is possible and the trade-offs involved, and raise concerns about partner requests to senior teammates early.
  • Build and deliver demos, walkthroughs, and lightweight prototypes to make proposed solutions tangible.
  • Hand off solution designs to Product with the context and partner input needed for Product to take ownership.
  • Identify signals from partner conversations that may indicate future platform opportunities and share them with senior consultants and Product.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate solution design and contribute to repeatable team assets and standards.
  • Partner with Engineering, Implementation, Client Success, and Commercial teams to keep solutions realistic and tied to partner outcomes.
  • Participate in and lead client-facing discovery and scoping meetings.
  • Communicate effectively with partners, teammates, and cross-functional teams, verbally and in writing.
