About The Position

The Solutions Center Lead works at Viking Electric in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, building work orders and supporting the timely, accurate, and high-quality fulfillment of customer orders and branch transfers. The role directs and performs warehousing activities, including cycle counting and resolving inventory discrepancies, and monitors equipment maintenance and housekeeping. The lead also creates and maintains job folders with pictures, drawings, and instructions, and analyzes errors and inventory discrepancies to identify their root causes. The schedule has a 6:00 a.m. start time, Monday through Friday. Hourly pay is $25.00–$30.00, with a short-term incentive bonus and a full benefits package.

Requirements

• At least two years of work experience in operations, distribution, logistics, warehousing, and/or electrical assembly.
• Electrical and/or mechanical background.
• Experience with cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Build work orders and assist and train other associates so orders are completed within required timeframes and meet quality standards.
• Direct and perform warehousing duties, including cycle counting and discrepancy analysis and resolution.
• Ensure customer orders and branch transfers are filled accurately and on schedule.
• Monitor equipment maintenance and housekeeping.
• Create and maintain job folders, including pictures, drawings, and instructions for all jobs.
• Analyze errors and inventory discrepancies to identify root causes.
