About The Position

The Solutions Center Lead supports operations at Viking Electric by building work orders and ensuring orders are completed within required timeframes and quality standards. The role includes training and assisting associates, performing and directing warehouse duties, and ensuring customer orders and branch transfers are filled accurately and on schedule. The position also monitors equipment maintenance and housekeeping, maintains job folders containing pictures, drawings, and instructions, and analyzes errors and inventory discrepancies to identify root causes.

This is a full-time hourly position based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with a 6:00 a.m. start time Monday through Friday. The posted hourly pay range is $25.00–$30.00. Compensation also includes a short-term incentive bonus and a full benefits package; base pay may vary based on experience and skills.

Requirements

• At least two years of work experience in operations, distribution, logistics, warehousing, and/or electrical assembly.
• Electrical and/or mechanical background.
• Experience with cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Build work orders and assist and train associates to ensure orders are completed within required timeframes and meet quality standards.
• Direct and perform warehousing duties, including cycle counting and discrepancy analysis and resolution.
• Ensure customer orders and branch transfers are filled accurately and on schedule.
• Monitor equipment maintenance and housekeeping.
• Create and maintain job folders, including pictures, drawings, and instructions for all jobs.
• Analyze and identify the root cause of errors and inventory discrepancies.
