MaintainX (An Autodesk Company)•San Francisco, CA
•$122,000 - $172,000

About The Position

MaintainX is a mobile-first work execution platform for industrial and frontline teams, now part of Autodesk Operations Solutions. The Solutions Architect, Integrations is the first dedicated role focused on integrations and works at the intersection of Sales and the post-sales Integrations team. The role ensures customer integration commitments are technically sound before contracts are signed and translates requirements into scoped blueprints for implementation. The position partners with Account Executives in pre-sales, leads technical discovery of prospects’ enterprise systems, and prepares integration scopes, data-flow diagrams, and effort estimates for handoff to the post-sales team. It also develops reusable integration patterns and reference architectures, assesses integration complexity and risk during deal reviews and pricing discussions, and contributes to demos and proof-of-concept integrations. The role works closely with post-sales Integrations, Product, Engineering, and Legal to improve scoping and support customer needs and deal progress.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in a client-facing Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, Technical Consulting, or similar role.
  • Deep familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and modern integration patterns.
  • Extensive hands-on knowledge of APIs, data flows, and systems architecture, working across engineering teams and business stakeholders.
  • Experience with iPaaS platforms such as Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft, Zapier, or similar.
  • Familiarity with SaaS delivery models, including onboarding, post-sale deployment, and customer success workflows.
  • Experience with enterprise systems such as ERP or EAM systems, including SAP, Oracle, IBM Maximo, or Infor.
  • Proven ability to scope technical work and translate it into effort estimates.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Executives in pre-sales cycles to uncover technical and operational pain points related to asset management and maintenance support.
  • Lead technical discovery conversations to understand prospects’ ERP, CMMS, EAM, and other enterprise systems that need to connect to MaintainX.
  • Produce integration scope documents, data-flow diagrams, and effort estimates as handoff artifacts for the post-sales team.
  • Build and maintain a library of repeatable integration patterns, pre-built assets, and reference architectures.
  • Represent integration feasibility and complexity in deal review and pricing conversations, and proactively flag risks to Sales leadership.
  • Collaborate with the post-sales Integrations team to refine scoping templates based on delivery outcomes and communicate the upcoming pipeline.
  • Deliver live demos and proof-of-concept integrations to prospects when required.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Legal to advocate for prospect needs, accelerate deal velocity, and refine value messaging.

Benefits

  • Compensation may include commission, an annual bonus, and equity, depending on the role.
  • Benefits are offered, with plans differing by country in areas such as health coverage, retirement, and leave.
