About The Position

Nearmap is hiring a Solution Product Manager, Government, to own the strategy and commercial success of products serving government customers. The role is fully remote within the continental United States. The successful candidate will work closely with government customers to understand their workflows, use cases, and pain points; define solutions and product opportunities; and lead products from strategy and prioritization through launch and growth. The role also involves developing subject-matter expertise in geospatial technology and property intelligence workflows, and collaborating across engineering, go-to-market, legal, product, and other teams. The product portfolio includes offerings related to property assessment, asset and portfolio management, public safety, and disaster response. The manager will create product vision and roadmaps, translate customer and business needs into actionable requirements, define measures of product traction and health, and champion business cases for new opportunities. They will build relationships with customers, internal commercial teams, and ecosystem partners, and share insights to align stakeholders on product direction. The role requires at least five years of product management experience building B2B SaaS and/or enterprise data products. Government customer experience is a strong plus, and geospatial experience is a plus. Candidates should be able to define and justify roadmaps, ship new products and improvements, communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, and bring commercial judgment, initiative, and an analytical, data-driven approach.
