About The Position
Snowflake is seeking a Solution Engineer to drive customer success and close large deals by solving complex technical challenges. The role works directly with sales teams and channel partners, combining technical expertise with business acumen to understand customer needs, deliver compelling demonstrations, and support enterprise Proofs of Concept. The ideal candidate is passionate about reinventing the database space and is comfortable engaging with executive and technical audiences. The position requires the employee to be based in Delaware, Maryland, or Virginia.
Requirements
- Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences.
- Extensive experience with database and data warehouse technology.
- Hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics.
- Python programming experience.
- Understanding of AI/ML principles and best practices.
- A degree in computer science, engineering, or mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- Must be based in Delaware, Maryland, or Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors.
- Work hands-on with prospects to demonstrate value throughout the sales cycle.
- Maintain a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams.
- Support enterprise Proofs of Concept from design through implementation.
