About The Position

CTG is seeking a Solution Architect I to support our client’s technology initiatives. This role focuses on designing scalable solutions, driving observability architecture, and partnering with engineering teams to deliver reliable, enterprise-level technology solutions. The Solution Architect I will support solution architecture efforts by translating enterprise architecture strategies into actionable designs for platforms and applications. This role will focus on observability, telemetry, monitoring, and SRE-aligned practices while collaborating with Enterprise Architecture, infrastructure, engineering, and Agile delivery teams.

Requirements

  • Solution Architecture experience.
  • Observability architecture experience.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
  • Experience with software or service engineering and delivery.
  • Experience with multiple programming languages.
  • Ability to evaluate technical solutions and communicate recommendations effectively.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience working with Agile delivery teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience totaling 9 years.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Responsibilities

  • Design and support comprehensive solution architectures aligned with enterprise standards and business objectives.
  • Provide architecture guidance for observability solutions, including: Logs, metrics, traces, and event-stream telemetry design; Monitoring and alerting integrations; Application and platform visibility strategies; AI and platform observability capabilities; Data correlation patterns for operational insights and root cause analysis.
  • Partner with engineering teams throughout the SDLC to ensure solutions meet standards for reliability, performance, and operational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and technical stakeholders to evaluate solution options and recommend appropriate approaches.
  • Support Agile teams with architecture decisions, design reviews, and implementation guidance.
  • Contribute to enterprise architecture standards, governance activities, and technology best practices.
  • Research emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve solutions and processes.
  • Assist with identifying and mitigating technical risks while ensuring compliance with company standards and controls.
