About The Position

CTG is seeking a Solution Architect I to support the design and delivery of enterprise technology solutions. This role partners with Enterprise Architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to develop scalable, reliable, and secure solutions aligned with architecture standards and business objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience with solution architecture, Service Reliability Engineering (SRE), software engineering practices, and modern cloud technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience, or 9 years of combined education and relevant experience.
  • Experience with Solution Architecture and Service Reliability Engineering concepts.
  • Experience designing and integrating applications using software architecture principles and patterns.
  • Experience with multiple programming languages.
  • Experience supporting software or service engineering delivery.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate technical options and recommend solutions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Responsibilities

  • Design and support solution architectures across assigned technology portfolios.
  • Translate enterprise architecture strategies into detailed technical designs and implementation guidance.
  • Partner with engineering teams throughout the SDLC, from solution design through production deployment.
  • Provide architecture guidance related to: Reliability, resiliency, high availability, and disaster recovery. Scalability and performance optimization. Observability, monitoring, telemetry, and operational readiness. SRE practices including SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and reliability frameworks.
  • Support AI platform operational architecture, including model monitoring, performance tracking, and reliability patterns.
  • Collaborate with Agile teams, architects, infrastructure teams, and technical stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend approaches that support business and technical goals.
  • Assist with architecture governance, standards development, and solution compliance reviews.
  • Identify technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
