About The Position

CTG is seeking a Solution Architect I to support technology initiatives by designing scalable, enterprise solutions that align with business objectives, architecture standards, and modern engineering practices. The Solution Architect I will collaborate with Enterprise Architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to develop technology solutions across the software delivery lifecycle. This role focuses on solution architecture, developer experience, cloud and integration patterns, and supporting the adoption of GenAI-enabled engineering practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Experience with solution architecture, software engineering, or technology delivery.
• Experience with multiple programming languages and modern software development practices.
• Experience developing and integrating applications using architecture principles and design patterns.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, automation tools, APIs, and modern engineering platforms.
• Ability to evaluate technical challenges and recommend effective solutions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and support comprehensive technology solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards and business needs.
• Collaborate with Agile teams through solution design, development, testing, and deployment activities.
• Provide architecture guidance for modern engineering practices, including GenAI-assisted development, automation, and developer tooling.
• Support CI/CD pipeline architecture, including security scanning, compliance controls, and quality automation.
• Define and promote API, integration, and application architecture patterns.
• Assist with multi-platform architecture solutions spanning cloud, co-location, and mainframe environments.
• Partner with engineering teams throughout the SDLC to provide technical direction and implementation guidance.
• Create and refine conceptual, logical, and physical solution architecture designs.
• Research emerging technologies and evaluate their impact on technology strategies.
• Support architecture governance activities and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Collaborate with technical stakeholders to evaluate solution options, tradeoffs, and technical risks.
