About The Position
Responsible for correctly sorting soiled linen placed on a moving conveyor belt and placing it into the corresponding sling or cart. The role follows standard operating procedures and must meet quality and production standards. Personal protective equipment provided for sorting soiled linen includes gloves, a mask, gowns, and shoe covers. The shift is Wednesday through Saturday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; overtime is required.
Requirements
- Able to stand for up to 10 hours a day.
- Able to push or pull linen carts weighing up to 800 pounds on wheels.
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Able to operate a computer and printer.
- Able to consistently meet physical requirements, including bending and twisting.
