About The Position

Responsible for sorting soiled linen placed on a moving conveyor belt. The employee picks up the linen and places it in the corresponding sling or cart, follows standard operating procedures, and meets quality and production standards. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 12:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. This is a temporary position. Personal protective equipment provided for sorting soiled linen includes gloves, a mask, gowns, and shoe covers. E-Verify is required; no drug screen or background check is required.

Requirements

• Be punctual and maintain excellent attendance.
• Meet established production standards.
• Work well with a diverse workforce.
• Follow directions from the team lead and supervisor, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a positive attitude.
• Be able to stand for up to 12 hours a day.
• Have sufficient manual dexterity to feed ironers.
• Be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Follow standard operating procedures and meet established quality and production standards.
• Follow company safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Follow directions from the team lead and supervisor.
• Work past the scheduled hours when production issues arise.
• Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager.
