About The Position
Responsible for correctly sorting linen placed on a moving conveyor belt and placing soiled linen into the corresponding sling or cart. Follows standard operating procedures and meets quality and production standards. Personal protective equipment provided for sorting soiled linen includes gloves, a mask, gowns, and shoe covers. The shift runs Thursday through Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Requirements
- Able to stand for up to 10 hours a day.
- Able to push or pull linen carts weighing up to 800 lbs on wheels.
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Able to operate a computer and printer.
- Able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending and twisting.
