About The Position
The Soil Production Temp is responsible for correctly sorting soiled linen placed on a moving conveyor belt. The employee picks up the soiled linen and places it in the corresponding sling or cart, follows standard operating procedures, and meets quality and production standards. Personal protective equipment provided for sorting soiled linen includes gloves, a mask, gowns, and shoe covers. The schedule is Saturday through Tuesday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Requirements
- Able to stand for up to 10 hours a day.
- Able to push or pull linen carts weighing up to 800 lbs. on wheels.
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Able to operate a computer and printer.
- Able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending and twisting.
