About The Position
VIAVI is seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and self-starting Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join its enterprise software development team. This technical role is responsible for the overall quality assurance function for integrating multiple VIAVI products and requires technical and organizational skills to work across different teams, locations, and products.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in software testing, including test automation.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies.
- Experience with test automation tools such as JMeter, Selenium, Playwright, or AI agents.
- Experience with end-to-end testing involving external interfaces.
- Experience with capacity and scalability testing.
- Familiarity with standard software development tools and scripting languages for test automation design and development.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- AI-driven test automation.
- Knowledge of fiber and cable network domains.
Responsibilities
- Work with project team members to create test plans for product releases.
- Create and organize test plans across multiple products.
- Create test procedures, coordinate testing, and conduct test execution.
- Design and develop test automation agents.
- Enhance and maintain lab equipment and the network used for product validation.
