About The Position

IERUS specializes in technology research, testing, and implementation, with core competencies in electromagnetics phenomenology, computational analytics, and weapon system engineering. The company supports defense and commercial customers by identifying, creating, transitioning, and producing technologies, and applies agile development fundamentals to accelerate technology development and customer engagement. The Software Engineer designs, develops, tests, and delivers software. Potential applications include tactical decision aids, radar software, flight software, and physics-based model development. Other application areas include modeling, simulation, frameworks, and the transition and deployment of advanced technology algorithms. Positions are available at junior through senior software engineer levels.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience in software engineering and development, including design, development, and testing; positions are available for all experience levels.
Experience with software languages such as ADA, C, C++, and Python.
Active DoD Secret clearance.
Must be a U.S. citizen.

Nice To Haves

Battle management software experience.
Experience in ADA.
Experience in numerical methods.
Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical ideas into understandable, actionable information for customers.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deliver software.
