About The Position
Under the supervision of a licensed clinician, the Social Work Clinician II provides clinical and casework services to members served and their natural supports. The role includes person-centered recovery planning and collaboration with other services and agencies. The position is with Telecare Riverside Mental Health Urgent Care, a voluntary 24/7 program for adults age 18 and above experiencing a mental health crisis who wish to avoid a locked setting. The program uses a welcoming, home-like environment to assess crises, provide comfort and support, and connect individuals with resources to help prevent future crises. Services are recovery-oriented and delivered by a multidisciplinary team with a high level of peer-to-peer services.
Requirements
- Be registered as an Associate of Social Work with the Board of Behavioral Science; registration must be valid and in good standing.
- Have a Master’s Degree in Social Work.
- Have one year of direct service experience with individuals with severe mental illness in an inpatient or outpatient setting.
Responsibilities

- Help assess the nature of mental health crises, soothe and comfort individuals, and connect them with resources to avoid future crises.
