About The Position

Under the supervision of a licensed clinician, the Social Worker Clinician II provides clinical and casework services to members served and their natural supports. The role includes person-centered recovery planning and collaboration with other services and agencies. The position is with Telecare Riverside Mental Health Urgent Care, a program offering 24/7 voluntary treatment to adults age 18 and older experiencing a mental health crisis who wish to avoid a locked setting. The welcoming, home-like program assesses crises, provides comfort and support, and connects individuals with resources to help prevent future crises. Services are recovery-oriented and delivered by a multidisciplinary team with a strong peer-to-peer component.

Requirements

Be registered as an Associate of Social Work with the Board of Behavioral Science; registration must be valid and in good standing.
Master’s degree in Social Work.
One year of direct service experience with individuals with severe mental illness in an inpatient or outpatient setting.
