Social Work Supervisor III - Adult Services
About The Position
Person County Department of Social Services is seeking a dedicated, experienced, and compassionate Social Work Supervisor III for Adult Services. The position provides leadership, supervision, and administrative oversight of social work services delivered to the county’s elderly and disabled populations. The role is exempt and works 37.5 hours weekly, or 1,950 hours annually. Starting salary will be determined based on the candidate’s educational background and relevant work experience. A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record under County policy are required. Education verification will be required during hiring if the position requires a degree. Employment offers are conditional on required pre-employment screening. Employees must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States within three days of starting employment.
Requirements
- A master’s degree in social work from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of directly related experience; or a bachelor’s degree in social work and three years of directly related experience; or a master’s degree in a human services field and three years of directly related experience; or a bachelor’s degree in a human services field and four years of directly related experience; or a bachelor’s degree and five years of directly related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.
- Must complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States within three days of starting employment.
