About The Position

This position is responsible for Material Assistance Services at the Hilltop Worship & Service Center location. Material Assistance services include writing clothing and furniture vouchers, filling food pantry orders, and registration for all seasonal programs. This position will work in harmony with the Corps Officer to carry out The Salvation Army’s mission and ministry.

Requirements

• An understanding of and passion for The Salvation Army’s Mission
• Valid Ohio Driver’s license and the ability obtain and maintain driving privileges per Salvation Army insurance standards

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field preferred
• 2 years’ experience in a social work setting acceptable in lieu of a degree
