About The Position

Tuli Lodge is seeking a Social Media and Storytelling Lead to own its digital presence and brand narrative. This is the first full-time digital marketing hire for the company, which has experienced rapid growth in its first season. The ideal candidate will be a go-getter, idea machine, and compelling storyteller who can move fast and figure things out. This role involves close collaboration with other team members and reporting directly to the founder and CEO. The position offers significant growth opportunities as the company scales.

Requirements

  • Proof of work, instinct, and ability to move fast and figure things out.
  • Chronically online: knowledge of current trends and how Tuli fits in.
  • Executor: ability to pitch and immediately start drafting and creating.
  • Strong storyteller: ability to evoke emotion through words, sounds, and pictures.
  • Understanding of the Tuli narrative and ability to translate it into content.
  • Video native: ability to ideate, script, shoot, edit, and post short-form video from scratch quickly.
  • Analytical: ability to track performance, understand key metrics, interpret data, and create data-driven plans.
  • Hyper-organized: meticulous about file naming, deadlines, and information retrieval.
  • Fast learner: ability to quickly grasp brand voice and visual aesthetic, and learn new tech tools.
  • AI-savvy but original: ability to use AI as a tool and push for originality.
  • Energized by early-stage environments: excitement for making a big impact with limited resources and building from scratch.
  • Strong aesthetic intuition: ability to see and recreate cool aesthetics and create mood boards.
  • Ability to work 4 days per week in-person in Seattle.
  • Availability for events and on-site moments on evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Own strategy and day-to-day execution across Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant digital platforms.
  • Move fast on trends and ideate, script, film, edit, and post video content independently.
  • Build and manage a content calendar, adjusting in real-time.
  • Write compelling, on-brand captions.
  • Collaborate with the Art Director on visual assets.
  • Work closely with the Partnerships & Events Lead to promote and recap activations and collaborations.
  • Manage direct messages (DMs), using tools to scale and ensure personalized responses.
  • Track performance obsessively, analyze data, present findings to leadership, and use insights to drive future strategy.
  • Own the Creator in Residence program in partnership with the IRL Marketing Lead.
  • Run influencer outreach, manage relationships, and track deliverables.
  • Write video and content guidelines.
  • Set creative direction for collaborations and ensure partners adhere to the vision.
  • Organize and maintain a searchable library of all images and videos (raw and edited).
  • Develop shot lists for missing content and coordinate its capture.
  • Expand into email marketing, paid social, Google Ads, SEO, Google Business Profile optimization, and text blasts as the role evolves.
  • Build and manage a team as Tuli scales.
