About The Position

The Social Media Lead is responsible for assisting in developing, planning, managing Passion-owned social channels, building an engaging social media strategy that grows our accounts, and submitting creative concepts for internal and external marketing campaigns with the goal of telling the story of Passion, inspiring the world, engaging and encouraging those who come in contact with the brand.

Requirements

  • Has consistently managed at least one brand’s social media account, with preference towards experience in managing multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Has a strong eye for design, photograph, and videography.
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, or other similar video or graphic design software.
  • Has worked in a digital, communications or other marketing equivalent environment.
  • Has strong copy-writing skills, written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, with regard to spelling and grammar.
  • Loves Jesus, the people of Passion City Church, the city of Atlanta, and the world.
  • Willingness to adapt and be flexible, while working above and beyond expectations.
  • Acts as an advocate of the culture and vision of Passion.
  • A positive, team-oriented, kingdom-minded individual who models initiative, service, and accuracy as they play a pivotal role on the team.
  • Low drama, high-momentum, high-capacity, positivity, over-comer, dreamer, creative, can-do-whatever-it-takes attitude.
  • High level of initiative and ability to take a proactive approach to work.

Responsibilities

  • Contribution to Passion City Church and Passion Conferences social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Threads).
  • Create, schedule, and post content.
  • Copywriting all captions and communication from our accounts.
  • Responsible for gathering and / or taking imagery needed for posts.
  • Monitor and moderate our accounts, including interaction with followers, answers to questions, DMs within 12 hours after posting.
  • Consistently brainstorm, implement, and evaluate new ideas for fresh social media content.
  • Monitor and report key social media metrics, statistics, and insights.
  • Provide creative ideas that contribute to the overall growth and quality of the content on our platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Content Director to create comprehensive social media content strategies that align with the vision of our House and grow our accounts.
  • Closely monitor marketing, social media, AI, and technology trends and make recommendations based on new developments.
  • Proactively work with Passion City Church, Passion 268, Passion Publishing, Passion Equip, Passion Resources & sixstepsrecords Teams to gather information and create plans for communication.
