About The Position

ABF Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a creative, organized, energetic, and results-driven Social Media & Digital Marketing Assistant to join our growing team. This full-time position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of ABF Healthcare Services' social media presence, developing engaging digital content, coordinating email marketing campaigns, monitoring online engagement, following up on social media inquiries, and helping expand the organization's digital reach. The ideal candidate understands that effective social media marketing involves much more than simply posting content. This individual will be expected to actively manage ABF's digital presence, engage with our online community, monitor performance, identify opportunities for growth, develop campaigns, and ensure that our brand maintains a professional, consistent, engaging, and premium presence across digital platforms. This position requires someone who can successfully balance creativity, communication, marketing strategy, organization, analytics, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

  • Manage ABF Healthcare Services' day-to-day presence across applicable social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and additional emerging or company-approved platforms).
  • Develop, maintain, and execute a structured social media posting calendar.
  • Schedule and publish content consistently throughout the week.
  • Create professional captions, headlines, calls-to-action, hashtags, and supporting copy.
  • Ensure posts are accurate, polished, visually consistent, and aligned with the ABF Healthcare Services brand.
  • Coordinate photos, graphics, videos, reels, educational content, testimonials, promotional materials, and informational posts.
  • Repurpose long-form content into short-form social media content.
  • Maintain consistency in company branding, messaging, tone, logos, colors, and visual presentation.
  • Ensure outdated promotions and information are removed or updated when necessary.
  • Maintain awareness of current social media trends and recommend appropriate ways ABF can participate while maintaining a professional healthcare image.
  • Monitor comments, direct messages, mentions, tags, reviews, and general audience activity.
  • Respond to appropriate social media comments and messages within established company guidelines.
  • Identify prospective patient inquiries and route them to the appropriate ABF department.
  • Follow up on legitimate inquiries when appropriate.
  • Escalate complaints, clinical questions, patient concerns, or sensitive matters to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Monitor conversations surrounding the ABF brand.
  • Engage appropriately with followers to help build a stronger online community.
  • Identify frequently asked questions that could be converted into future marketing or educational content.
  • Maintain organized records of important inquiries, leads, follow-ups, and referrals generated through digital platforms.
  • Ensure messages requiring additional action are followed through to completion.
  • Help create a continuous pipeline of engaging content for ABF Healthcare Services (e.g., healthcare education, preventive healthcare information, primary care information, mental health and counseling education, wellness information, weight-management education, IV therapy and wellness services, specialty service promotions, staff introductions, provider features, patient education, behind-the-scenes content, community involvement, health awareness months, seasonal healthcare messaging, employee recognition, company announcements, short-form educational videos, promotional campaigns, events and special programs).
  • Turn a basic idea provided by leadership or a provider into a polished digital marketing concept.
  • Assist with developing and managing ABF's email marketing strategy.
  • Develop professional email marketing campaigns.
  • Create engaging email subject lines, headlines, body copy, graphics, and calls-to-action.
  • Build campaigns around company services, announcements, educational information, promotions, events, and seasonal initiatives.
  • Develop newsletters and recurring marketing communications.

  • Assist leadership in developing comprehensive marketing campaigns that extend beyond individual social media posts.
  • Establish campaign goals, identify the intended audience, develop campaign themes, create promotional messaging, coordinate graphics and video content, develop email campaigns, create social media campaign schedules, establish calls-to-action, support landing-page or website promotional content, track campaign performance, and prepare campaign recap reports.
  • Think strategically about how multiple marketing channels work together.
  • Maintain an organized marketing and content calendar that includes scheduled social media posts, video releases, email campaigns, awareness days, health observances, company events, promotional campaigns, staff features, community initiatives, service promotions, holiday communications, and important organizational announcements.
  • Plan upcoming content in advance whenever possible.
  • Assist with developing ideas for Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form content.
  • Prepare video topics and content outlines.

  • Review completed videos prior to posting.

  • Create or coordinate social media graphics, promotional flyers, digital advertisements, email graphics, event announcements, quote graphics, provider spotlights, service advertisements, educational infographics, social media stories, YouTube thumbnails, digital signage, and website promotional graphics.
  • Actively work toward increasing ABF's digital visibility.
  • Monitor follower growth.
  • Identify opportunities to increase organic engagement.
  • Develop campaigns intended to increase followers and subscribers.
  • Encourage appropriate audience interaction.

  • Assist with keeping marketing-related website information current.
  • Identify outdated website information, coordinate updates to service descriptions, support blog development, prepare promotional website copy, review online information for accuracy, ensure campaigns are properly represented across both social media and the company website, and coordinate with IT, web development, or leadership regarding necessary updates.
