Social Creative Lead

Neko Health•New York, NY

About The Position

Neko is redefining prevention by making data-driven, preventative care accessible before symptoms appear. Through a non-invasive visit combining proprietary technology and direct clinical care, Neko provides personalised, actionable health insights. The Social Creative Lead owns social creative for the US, keeping the channels moving while the Creative Studio team in Stockholm is offline. The role turns an editorial system of content pillars into work that is shot, edited and published, maintaining a distinct and coherent feed. The role works directly with Ramiro on visual language and with Marketing on strategy, copy and the editorial calendar. In the first 3 months, the role is expected to establish a steady shoot, edit and publish rhythm across agreed content categories, with every post traceable to a pillar and its toolbox. By month 6, the role will agree a platform playbook with Marketing for Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, defining the audience and format for each category. By month 9, the role will take content for a US location opening from brief to publication, shooting on site with a videographer. By month 12, the role will document a social framework and operating model to support growth into a pod. The role also ships US posts overnight for Stockholm without creative-leadership review and provides a weekly assessment of platform and trend shifts that informs what the team makes.

Requirements

  • A portfolio of social-first work personally shot, edited and published, including still and motion content at a steady cadence.
  • Evidence of leading work end to end, from idea through shoot to published post, with outcomes that can be stated.
  • Evidence of working within an editorial or design system and knowing when to push against it.
  • Platform judgment for Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, supported by a current understanding of trends.
  • Proven autonomy and ability to make and own decisions without sign-off across a six-hour time difference.
  • Must be US-based and able to travel for one to two weeks on location.
  • Ability to leverage AI where appropriate for ideation, tagging, rough cuts and caption drafts, with a person checking quality and tone. AI must not decide what is published and must not be used for anything involving members’ health information or sign-off.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience directing a videographer, agency or freelancers.
  • Background in direct-to-consumer, health, technology or consumer goods.
  • Experience building a social framework or content design system, or supporting a location launch.

Responsibilities

  • Own US social creative from idea through to published post.
  • Shoot and edit original still and motion content at speed.
  • Run the editorial toolbox by applying each category’s look, tools and audience, and determine when to depart from it.
  • Draft captions and copy; Marketing owns strategy, tent-pole moments and the editorial calendar.
  • Direct freelance videographers and other external partners on location.
  • Track platform and algorithm shifts weekly and recommend changes.
  • Establish a steady shoot, edit and publish rhythm across agreed content categories.
  • Develop a platform playbook with Marketing for Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, including audience and format by category.
  • Create and publish content for a US location opening, working on site with a videographer.
  • Document a social framework and operating model to support the function’s growth.
  • Ship US posts overnight for Stockholm without creative-leadership review.
