About The Position

The Soccer Shots internship runs from February through May 2026 and includes at least 120 hours over 11 to 13 weeks, with a maximum of 30 hours per week. Weekly hours may vary and are coordinated with the supervisor. Additional events may be scheduled, with dates and times communicated in advance. The internship pays $12 per hour, and interns may receive a performance-based bonus and free uniforms. In the initial weeks, interns work with the Soccer Shots Leadership Team to prepare for the season through promotions, demonstrations, and enrollment-building activities. Coaching may account for approximately 50% of an intern’s workload during this period. Once the season begins, the focus shifts to program delivery, with coaching making up as much as 70% of the workload. Sessions may take place during the day, in the afternoon, on weeknights, and on some Saturday mornings, ending no later than 1:00 p.m. Sessions will be scheduled near the intern’s residence when possible. Interns coach children using the Soccer Shots curriculum and assist with delivering the season. The experience also offers exposure to the operations of a franchise and small business, including planning, scheduling, sales and marketing, customer service, and management. Interns are expected to act professionally and arrive on time for assigned office hours, coaching sessions, and events. Academic credit may be available through the intern’s educational institution.
