About The Position
Auto-Owners Insurance is seeking a motivated law student to join its Legal Division as an intern for Winter 2026/Spring 2027. The Legal Division supports all company divisions, including Claims, Underwriting, Marketing, IT, Real Estate, and Actuarial, and works on matters involving claims, torts, litigation, contracts, real estate, data analysis, education and training, and data privacy. The intern will perform position-related tasks in a professional setting while the Company evaluates the participant’s qualifications for possible future employment.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in law school and entering the second or third year.
- Above-average written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to learn business processes.
- Ability to use a PC and applicable business software.
- Competency to learn new software tools.
- Ability to organize and interpret data.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments.
- Ability to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
