About The Position

DiLeonardo is offering an internship for students pursuing a degree in architecture or design. Interns work with a global team and industry professionals on hospitality projects, with mentorship from a dedicated experienced architect or interior designer. The internship provides practical experience in areas such as space planning, material selection, and construction documentation. In addition to contributing to hospitality projects, interns complete an independent project re-imagining a past project using its brief, site location, and floor plan. The intern develops a guestroom Schematic Design package that includes a concept, research, layouts, and renderings, receives expert feedback, refines presentation skills, and adds work to their portfolio. Architecture interns may also be able to earn NCARB AXP hours toward licensure.

Requirements

Must be actively pursuing a degree from an accredited Architectural or Design school.
Strong written, oral, and visual communication skills.
Proficiency in Adobe Suites and Microsoft Office.
Good interpersonal skills and an enjoyment of a creative, collaborative work environment.

Nice To Haves

A focus on hospitality design.
Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
