About The Position

Soccer Shots is seeking dependable, part-time coaches to lead engaging 30-45 minute soccer sessions for children aged 18 months to 8 years old. These sessions are held at local preschools, elementary schools, parks, and community centers. Coaches will travel within a 30-40 minute radius for their assignments. The role involves teaching a curriculum focused on skill development, character building, and fun themes, aiming to leave a lasting positive impact on every child and family served. This position offers a rewarding experience where coaches can make a difference in their community.

Requirements

Passion for positively impacting children’s lives through the love of sports and fitness.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle that is insured.
Availability during Fall & Winter Seasons (September-December) within weekday afternoon timeframes (1:30 PM – 4:30 PM).
Must be able to travel between sites.

Nice To Haves

Prior soccer experience is not required.
Experience working with children ages 18 months to 8 years old is preferred.
A reliable and consistent coach who enjoys teaching fun, themed soccer sessions.

Responsibilities

Lead 30-45 minute soccer sessions for children aged 18 months to 8 years old.

Ensure sessions are engaging, fun, and impactful for young children.
Maintain consistency and reliability throughout the 8-10 week seasonal schedule.
