About The Position

Soccer Shots is expanding its weekday morning programming on the west side and is seeking experienced preschool and daycare teachers to lead soccer classes for children ages 2 to 8. The teacher brings “Soccer Island” to life through enthusiasm and creativity, using Soccer Shots’ expert-created curriculum and early childhood development teaching techniques. Classes take place in active indoor and outdoor environments and include setting up and taking down the field. The role focuses on encouraging character development, fostering a safe and inclusive environment, following on-site safety and attendance protocols, and communicating effectively with families, caregivers, and school teachers or directors. The position offers competitive hourly pay of $20.00–$22.00 and an opportunity for advancement.

Requirements

• Experience working in a daycare or preschool in Oregon.
• Active CBR number.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Home address on the west side, such as Tigard, Tualatin, Beaverton, or Lake Oswego.
• Availability on weekday mornings from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• Ability to stand, jog, and model children’s soccer skills in an active environment indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct soccer classes for children ages 2 to 8, including field setup and takedown.

• Use Soccer Shots’ expert-created curriculum and early childhood development teaching techniques in every session.
• Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.

• Stand, jog, and model children’s soccer skills in active indoor and outdoor settings.
