About The Position

GardaWorld is hiring a part-time, flexible Security SOC Operator in Plano, Texas. The role involves CCTV surveillance, access control for employees and vendors, and monitoring security systems. Officers are expected to maintain a safe and secure work environment while acting professionally and courteously. The position requires advanced computer skills and the ability to investigate incidents using applicable devices, observe and report activity, respond rapidly to critical situations, prepare detailed reports, and enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards. The work is performed in a controlled workspace, and availability must be open because shifts vary.

Requirements

• At least two years of customer service experience.
• Proficiency with computers, Google Suite, and Microsoft applications.
• Ability to investigate incidents using applicable devices.
• Advanced computer skills for CCTV surveillance.
• Minimum associate degree in criminal justice or an associated field.
• High school education or equivalent (GED).
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• State security license or ability to obtain one.
• At least 21 years of age, as required by applicable law or contractual requirements.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving history.
• Stable work history and reliable transportation.
• Ability to walk, stand, and sit for long periods.
• Open availability for varying shifts.

Nice To Haves

• SOC experience is highly preferred.
• Prior experience with access control, Genetec security desk/cameras, alarm monitoring, or Lenel systems.
• Security, military, corrections, or law enforcement experience.
• Self-motivation to advance in the security industry.
