About The Position

This temporary, part-time seasonal position provides as-needed snow removal support to the landscaping services group during significant snowstorms of 2 inches or more, or when otherwise needed. Work is approximately 6–10 hours per week as needed. The position is not remote and does not offer hybrid work; some work takes place on campus. The role pays $25–$35 per hour and is non-exempt, eligible for overtime.

Requirements

• Experience with skid steers, snowplows, tool cats, snow blowers, or pay loaders for snow removal.
• Experience performing snow removal.
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check.
• Timeliness and reliability.
• Willingness to work outside during inclement weather.
• Willingness to drive on snow-packed or icy roads during work conditions.
• Verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
• Visa sponsorship for continued employment is not supported.

Nice To Haves

• CDL license.

Responsibilities

• Operate skid steers and tool cats, as assigned, to clear sidewalks during large snow events.
• Operate plow trucks and a payloader to clear and haul snow from roadways during large snow events.
• Report equipment maintenance issues to full-time landscaping employees for repair or replacement.
• Report hours worked promptly in the timekeeping system.
