About The Position

This temporary, part-time seasonal position supports the landscaping services group with snow removal during significant snowstorms of two or more inches or as needed. Work is as needed, approximately 6–10 hours per week. The position is not fully remote or hybrid and requires work on campus and outdoors in inclement weather.

The employee clears sidewalks using assigned equipment and clears or hauls snow from roadways using plow trucks and a payloader. Other tasks include reporting equipment maintenance issues to full-time Landscaping employees and submitting hours promptly through the timekeeping system. The role pays $25–$35 per hour, is non-exempt, and is eligible for overtime.

Requirements

• Experience with skid steers, snowplows, toolcats, snow blowers, or payloaders for snow removal.
• Experience performing snow removal.
• Successfully complete a Criminal History Background Check.
• Be timely and reliable.
• Be willing to work outside during inclement weather.
• Be willing to drive on snow-packed or icy roads during work conditions.
• Verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

• CDL license.
