About The Position

SweetRush has an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to join our Learning Design team! At SweetRush, we believe that when you put people at the center of business, magic happens. As a global leader in learning and development, we blend high-end storytelling, emerging tech like AI and VR, and deep psychological insights to help organizations—from iconic global brands to essential nonprofits—flourish. We are a remote-first, tight-knit community built on a foundation of radical empathy and creative excellence. Our work isn’t just about the awards we win with incredible partners such as Hilton, Google, Bridgestone, Adidas, SHRM, and numerous others; it’s about balancing profit with a genuine desire to spread good in the world. If you are a caring innovator who believes work should be life-centered and impactful, then this is where you come in… We are seeking a mid-to-senior level Creative Strategist, Performance Creative Strategist, or Social-First Creative Lead to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for an upcoming curriculum development project. In this freelance role, you will lead the rigorous quality, accuracy, and fidelity review of a four-course Coursera specialization titled AI-Powered Creative Strategy, Design and Measurement. The course content is adapted from existing Meta webinars covering creative brief development, mobile-first design, generative AI creative workflows, and creative performance measurement. This is an active editing and validation role in which you will review, refine, correct, and augment AI-drafted course content generated by Coursera's tools to ensure absolute platform currency, realistic tool-usage guidelines, and learner engagement.

Requirements

  • Current, hands-on experience developing, testing, or directing mobile-first and AI-assisted ad creative for Meta campaigns.
  • Mid-to-senior level practitioner (5+ years of dedicated experience in creative strategy, ad design, performance creative, or digital campaign development).
  • Background working in agencies, in-house creative teams, e-commerce, DTC, or performance creative studios where visual performance outcomes drive results.
  • Direct, current knowledge of Meta ad creative best practices across Facebook and Instagram placements, mobile-first design frameworks, and AI-driven workflow features.
  • Live Active Access to: Meta Ads Manager, Meta creative reporting dashboards, at least one generative AI creative tool environment (relevant to image generation, editing, or animation), and a portfolio or review environment.
  • Ability to evaluate if content is properly scoped for a mixed audience of entry-to-mid career marketing managers, analysts, and graphic designers (ensuring guidance is practical rather than overly simplistic or overly theoretical).
  • Strategic creative brief frameworks that connect objectives to audience insights, deliverables, and KPIs.
  • Mobile-first design principles (visual hierarchy, attention capture, small-screen readability, and format constraints).
  • Realistic applications, constraints, and prompt-based workflows for generative AI images and motion-based assets.
  • Structured creative testing approaches (comparing concepts, messaging variations, and media formats).

Nice To Haves

  • Holding an active Meta Certified Creative Strategy Professional or Meta Certified Digital Marketing Associate credential.
  • Hands-on access to native Meta AI creative tool environments.
  • Familiarity with production-side design suites (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva) or creative performance tracking via analytics platforms like GA4.
  • Prior experience working within the Meta Blueprint or Meta partner ecosystem.
  • Familiarity working with Google Drive (.doc) editing workflows and Airtable/Donobu QA feedback tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Review source webinars and supporting documents to evaluate generated outlines for logical flow, structural completeness, and sequencing.
  • Attend live alignment calls with the Coursera and Learning Design teams to validate content at the structural level.
  • Conduct a deep-dive review of a Proof-of-Concept (POC) course to establish the standard for tone, depth, accuracy, and structure.
  • Review remaining course atlases (.doc format via Google Drive) to ensure they mirror the POC standards and flag course-specific errors.
  • Access the live Coursera staging environment to end-to-end test all interactive components, dialogues, and logic triggers.
  • Validate final uploads against source webinars for absolute factual accuracy, brand alignment, and completeness.
  • Scrutinize all elements to ensure absolutely zero hallucinated or drifted Meta product claims.
  • Verify that setup steps for Ads Manager creative configurations, mobile-first layouts, and Meta AI features reflect the current live UI.
  • Draft and refine XDP copy for product accuracy; review Donobu QA reports as required.
  • Record high-quality technical screencasts following provided audio/room setup guidelines if needed to complement written text.

Benefits

  • Equal employment opportunity for all employees
  • Work environment free of discrimination and harassment
