Slot Technician II
About The Position
Perform immediate, periodic, and overhaul maintenance on gaming machines, equipment, and hardware. Diagnose and repair machine faults, including electronic faults at the board level. Test equipment using oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, and other manufacturer-specific test equipment. The role includes training and instructing junior-level Slot Technicians on technical aspects of slot machine repair, maintaining knowledge of new slot products and equipment, and communicating effectively by two-way radio. The position requires reading and applying repair manuals and equipment-related materials, following detailed instructions, and using soldering and de-soldering equipment, hand tools, and power tools. Physical tasks include standing and walking for the duration of a shift; stooping, kneeling, and crouching while repairing machines; and pushing, pulling, and maneuvering machines and weights up to 80 pounds.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess thorough knowledge of the mechanics, electronics, and electrical functions of gaming machines.
- Must be able to work with various hand tools and power tools.
- Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, and crouch while repairing gaming machines.
- Must be able to push and pull machines and maneuver weights up to 80 pounds.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience in bench repair, slots, or a related field, or graduation from slot repair school or a similar course of study, is strongly preferred.
