About The Position

The Slot Floor Person provides customer service on the casino floor, assists with slot play and slot-related problems, and helps ensure compliance with slot procedures, rules, security, and regulatory requirements. The role responds to guest needs, handles monetary transactions, pays and verifies slot jackpots, and promotes the myChoice card program. It also involves controlling money flow during shifts, assisting with training, maintaining cleanliness, and addressing customer requests.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience directly related to the specified accountabilities.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately account for cash transactions.
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully with the public.

Responsibilities

• Support and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
• Watch slot play, resolve problems, promote compliance with slot procedures and rules, maintain slot security, and report specific play or problems as required.
• Respond to guest needs and accurately handle monetary transactions, including dealing resiliently with difficult customers.
• Pay and verify slot machine jackpots according to established procedures.
• Promote the myChoice card program by understanding current card benefits and information and presenting the program to customers.
• Accurately maintain and control money flow during shifts with customers and employees.
• Assist with training new personnel and customer booth trainees as needed.
• Monitor work areas for cleanliness and address and resolve customer requests.
• Ensure regulatory compliance within the area of responsibility and report potential issues to management.
