About The Position

Mattress Firm’s Sleep Expert elevates the in-store customer experience by serving as a trusted sleep authority and providing best-in-class products. The role uses Mattress Firm selling programs and digital tools to create an engaging, customer-centered environment and support a seamless omnichannel experience. Sleep Experts build customer relationships, share technical and product knowledge, drive individual sales performance, and maintain contact with customers during and after their purchases. The position may support stores within a 30- to 45-minute radius of the home store location. The job requires the ability to lift, push, or pull more than 50 pounds and legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Compensation is listed as $57,000–$70,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Eligible leadership and individual contributor roles may have additional bonus opportunities at the Company’s discretion. The posting also describes uncapped commission and a base-pay-or-uncapped-commission compensation structure.

Responsibilities

• Create a customer-centered in-store environment by cultivating strong customer relationships.
• Provide technical and product knowledge to customers and serve as a subject matter expert.
• Execute Mattress Firm selling programs using digital tools and support a seamless omnichannel experience.
• Drive individual sales performance and key performance indicators while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives.
• Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase, including resolving customer issues and sending delivery reminders.
• Stay aware of competitors, their advertisements, and the services they offer.
• Use social media to positively impact brand awareness and increase sales.
