About The Position

The Sleep Expert elevates the in-store customer experience by serving as a trusted sleep authority and recommending best-in-class products. The role uses Mattress Firm selling programs and digital tools to support a seamless omnichannel experience and create an engaging, customer-centered environment. Sleep Experts build customer relationships, provide product and technical knowledge, drive individual sales performance, and support company values and initiatives. The position also involves maintaining customer relationships after purchase, staying informed about competitors, and using social media to support brand awareness and sales.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong customer relationships and create a customer-centered in-store environment.
• Provide customers with technical and product information and serve as a subject matter expert.
• Execute Mattress Firm selling programs using digital tools and support a seamless omnichannel experience.
• Drive individual sales performance and KPIs while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives.
• Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase, including resolving issues and sending delivery reminders.
• Maintain awareness of competitors, their advertisements, and their services.
• Use social media to positively impact brand awareness and increase sales.
• Lift, push, or pull more than 50 pounds.
