About The Position

The Sleep Expert elevates the customer’s in-store experience by serving as a trusted sleep authority and offering best-in-class products. The role executes Mattress Firm selling programs using digital tools and supports a seamless omnichannel experience, creating an engaging environment centered on the customer.

Sleep Experts build customer relationships, provide product and technical knowledge, drive individual sales performance, and maintain customer relationships during and after purchases. The role may provide support to stores in Fishkill, NY and Kingston, NY as needed.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship; proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Create a customer-centered environment by cultivating strong relationships.
• Provide customers with technical and product knowledge and serve as a subject matter expert.
• Drive individual sales performance and KPIs while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives.
• Maintain customer relationships during and after purchases, including resolving customer issues and sending delivery reminders.
• Maintain awareness of competitors, their advertisements, and services.
• Leverage social media to positively impact brand awareness and increase sales.
• Lift, push, or pull 50+ pounds.
