About The Position
The Sleep Expert elevates the in-store customer experience by serving as a trusted sleep authority and offering best-in-class products. The role executes Mattress Firm selling programs using digital tools and supports a seamless omnichannel experience in a compelling, engaging environment centered on the customer. Sleep Experts build customer relationships, provide product and technical knowledge, drive individual sales performance and KPIs, and support company values and initiatives. They also maintain customer relationships after purchase, monitor competitors, and use social media to support brand awareness and sales.
Requirements
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship; proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ pounds.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate strong customer relationships and keep the customer at the center of the in-store experience.
- Provide customers with technical and product knowledge and act as a subject matter expert.
- Execute Mattress Firm selling programs using digital tools and support a seamless omnichannel experience.
- Drive individual sales performance and KPIs while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives.
- Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase, including resolving customer issues and sending delivery reminders.
- Maintain awareness of competitors, their advertisements, and their services.
- Leverage social media to positively impact brand awareness and increase sales.
- Lift, push, or pull 50+ pounds.
