About The Position

The Sleep Expert elevates the in-store customer experience by serving as a trusted sleep authority and recommending best-in-class products. The role executes Mattress Firm selling programs using digital tools and supports a seamless omnichannel experience, creating an engaging environment centered on the customer. Sleep Experts build strong customer relationships, provide technical and product knowledge, drive individual sales performance and KPIs, and support company values and initiatives. They maintain customer relationships during and after purchases, stay aware of competitors’ products and services, and use social media to support brand awareness and sales.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship; proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.

Responsibilities

• Create a customer-centered environment by cultivating strong relationships.
• Provide customers with technical and product knowledge and serve as a subject matter expert.
• Execute Mattress Firm selling programs using digital tools and support a seamless omnichannel experience.
• Drive individual sales performance and KPIs while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives.
• Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase, including resolving customer issues and sending delivery reminders.
• Maintain awareness of competitors, advertisements, and services.
• Leverage social media to positively impact brand awareness and increase sales.
• Lift, push, or pull 50 pounds or more.
