About The Position

The Sleep Expert elevates the in-store customer experience by serving as a trusted sleep authority and offering best-in-class products. The role executes Mattress Firm selling programs using digital tools and supports a seamless omnichannel experience, creating a compelling environment that keeps the customer at the center. The position may support stores within a 30- to 45-minute radius of the home store location.

Sleep Experts help customers find mattresses and improve their sleep, build customer relationships, provide product and technical knowledge, and drive individual sales performance. They also maintain customer relationships after purchase, stay aware of competitors, and use social media to support brand awareness and sales.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship; proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 or more pounds.

Responsibilities

• Create a customer-centered environment by cultivating strong relationships.
• Provide customers with technical and product knowledge and serve as a subject matter expert.
• Drive individual sales performance and KPIs while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives.
• Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase, including resolving customer issues and sending delivery reminders.
• Maintain awareness of competitors, advertisements, and competitor services.
• Leverage social media to positively impact brand awareness and increase sales.
• Lift, push, or pull 50 or more pounds.
