About The Position

The Skilled Maintenance position works under the direct supervision of the MOT Director or designee. The role supports the maintenance of facilities in safe operating condition and a preventive maintenance program. It involves completing construction-related projects, building items, and repairing or replacing facility and system components, consulting the Skilled Maintenance Lead II as needed. The position also helps ensure efficient and safe use of space, adequate materials for assignments, documentation of information, resolution of immediate operational or safety concerns, and safe, proper, and timely completion of assignments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid California driver's license and proof of insurance.
• Pre-employment physical.
• Prior job-related experience with increasing responsibility.
• Submit applicable licenses, certifications, bonding, and/or testing documentation.
• Submit a letter of introduction.
• Submit three letters of recommendation.
• Submit proof of high school graduation.
• Submit a resume.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance of facilities in safe operating condition.
