About The Position

This position is responsible for setting up equipment in preparation for startup, and for removing heads and chiseling both cheek bones inside and out. The role requires adherence to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies. The team member will monitor the production area for trash and food debris on the floor, perform minor maintenance on equipment, and undertake various other tasks as assigned. Cleaning the work area at the end of the production shift, including sweeping and spraying, is also a key responsibility. The job involves working in temperatures of 35 degrees Fahrenheit or less for a minimum of 8 hours and requires the ability to perform tasks such as standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting for extended periods on a concrete floor.

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work on and around machinery and chemicals.
  • Must be able to perform tasks for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.
  • Must be able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit for a minimum of 8 hours.
  • Internal candidates: Must not have more than 4 attendance occurrences.
  • Internal candidates: Must not have a disciplinary suspension on file in the past 6 months.
  • Internal candidates: Must be in your current position for a minimum of six (6) months unless this job is a higher class than you currently hold.
  • This position is slated only for TMs from the Newbern Facility.
  • External candidates: Must have at least 6 continuous months of employment in the last 18 months.
  • Preferred candidates will have at least 6 months of relevant Machine Operator, Warehouse Agricultural or production experience.
