About The Position

This role is responsible for identifying and removing any and all defects from hogs prior to final USDA inspection. The position requires adherence to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies. The job involves setting up equipment in preparation for startup and maintaining a clean production area.

Requirements

Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.
Must be able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours.
Must have 6 MThs continuous employment in the last 18 months.
This location does not accept rehires.

Relevant machine operator, warehouse, agriculture or production experience.

Responsibilities

Identify and remove any and all defects from hogs prior to final USDA inspection.
Set up equipment in preparation for startup.
Set up area with all needed equipment.
Monitor production area for trash and food debris on floor.
Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent.
Clean up area at end of production shift, including but not limited to sweeping, picking up debris from the floor, and spraying work areas.
