About The Position

MH Eby is hiring a Skilled Assembler in Palmer, Texas, to assemble aluminum truck bodies and subassemblies for standard and custom-built products. The role includes installing large-format decals and graphics, hardware, mechanical fasteners, and components while following engineering drawings, measurements, production specifications, and safety procedures. Assemblers use hand tools, metalworking equipment, production machinery, computers, measuring tools, and overhead cranes as needed. The position requires maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area. Requirements

• Experience reading engineering drawings.
• Basic math skills.
• Mechanical skills and comfort using hand tools, metalworking equipment, and machinery to assemble aluminum truck bodies and components.
• Ability to take accurate measurements and produce quality workmanship.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and meet the physical demands of hands-on manufacturing work.
• Self-motivated, hardworking, organized, and able to work collaboratively with others.

• Previous experience installing large-format decals or graphics.

Responsibilities

• Assemble aluminum truck bodies and subassemblies for standard and custom-built products.
• Install hardware, mechanical fasteners, and components using hand tools and metalworking equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate assembly and proper fit.
• Measure materials and components using measuring tools and basic math to meet production specifications.
• Apply large-format decals to truck bodies, ensuring proper placement and a professional finish.
• Operate production machinery, computers, and overhead cranes as needed to complete assembly tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following established production and safety procedures.
