About The Position

The Skilled Assembler works from assembly prints, plans, test procedures, component maintenance manuals, engineering change orders, and other controlled documents. The role supports failure analysis, sets up and operates product-related equipment with direction from technicians, and checks, records, and documents assembly data and required in-process verification. The assembler recognizes process variation and makes appropriate adjustments while following compliant work practices. The position requires working from complex product drawings, manuals, and specifications, following safety rules, wearing required PPE, and promptly reporting safety concerns and injuries. The position is listed for a Tuesday–Friday first shift schedule of four 10-hour days and pays $24.00 per hour. The posting is expected to close on October 31, 2026.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of experience with aerospace or similar assembly.
Ability and willingness to lift 25 pounds.
Ability and willingness to use and understand mechanical and electrical measuring tools and equipment.
Ability and willingness to read, interpret, and follow assembly blueprints, work instructions, and component maintenance manuals.
Ability and willingness to read, interpret, and document technical data in English.
Must be at least 18 years old by the time of joining.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; an offer is conditioned on successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable. Employees may also be subject to random and reasonable-suspicion drug and alcohol testing.

Nice To Haves

Solder certification.
At least 1 year of experience in electromechanical or electrical assembly.
Ability to work independently with some assistance from senior operators.
Ability to understand and use required systems for repair transactions and customer requirements.
Experience operating test lab equipment.
Ability to follow schematics to aid troubleshooting.
Ability to recognize problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
Ability to set up and operate relevant test equipment.

Responsibilities

Work with and provide input to help with failure analysis using assembly prints, assembly plans, test procedures, component maintenance manuals, engineering change orders, and other controlled documents.
Set up and operate equipment common to the product with direction from technicians.
Check and record assembly data and perform and document required in-process verification.
Recognize process variation and adjust accordingly to compliant work practices.
Work from complex product drawings, manuals, and specifications.
Comply with safety rules, wear required PPE, and immediately report safety concerns and injuries.
